The nest of owls is situated below the busy walled town Amandola. Set within the foothills of the Sibillini moutains you are immersed in mountain life with magnificent views and a 20 minute stroll along a road brings you into Amandola. Monte Falcone a few minutes drive is the centre of the truffle hunting along with Monte Monaco. The food in this area is rich and indulgent featuring truffles, funghi porcini, wild boar and deer.Visit Ascoli Piceno, the provincial capital , 3 drive and the coast with sophisticated coastal towns and ports to enjoy fresh fish from the Adriatic and water sports.
