 The backdrop to this region is the majestic Sibillini Mountains.

 Now designated a National Park, this awesome range within the Appennines forms part of the backbone of Italy. 

 Breath-taking summits peak at over 2000 metres above sea level. Here, there are staggering views of mountains, valleys, lochs, waterfalls and gorges. Snow-capped until June, these mountains are home to wandering herds of grazing Chianina cows, wolves, eagles and stunning meadows of wildflowers. Up here, you literally feel on top of the world and on a clear day you can see across the breadth of Le Marche, The Adriatic and Croatia beyond. . 

  A memorable and wondrous place for trekking, riding, cycling, 

kayaking, quad-biking or just picnicking. 

This unique, magical place was once the home of witches, spirits and hermits.
