Villa Tranquilla Offida Le Marche

Villa Tranquilla is an  ideal holiday villa for parties with children looking for a comfortable, spacious, light and sophisticated home close to the sea with a large private pool, spacious grounds and in a quiet, peaceful location. A few minutes drive from the beautiful wine town Offida also famous for lace making. The Adriatic coast is 15 minutes drive . The villa has 4 double bedrooms and two further bedroom with flexible bed arrangements for youngsters. Convenient for supermarkets and local shopping , restaurants and coastal entertainments. With lots of space for children to play but also offering the reassurance of safety this villa is the perfect hideaway close to the bustle of the coast but far enough away to offer peace and complete privacy for children and grown ups to be as loud or quiet as they like.

The villa is reached by a private driveway and offers plentiful parking. To the front of the villa is a spacious lawn and olive trees. The large pool is fenced for safety  and a spacious paved deck with plenty of sun beds and parasols.A shaded terrace offers an ideal place to enjoy long lunches under a shaded loggia with beautiful views of vineyards on the surrounding hills.

There is table tennis and a barbecue.

The front door opens onto a hall way , a staircase to the upper floors and a reception room with comfortable sofas, TV for films ( DVD), table and games. 

Another reception room acts as a snug.

The kitchen is well equipped for cooking with a large fridge, oven, dish washer, washing machine. Sufficient crockery, glasses and cutlery to accommodate 14.

The kitchen has a long dining table and chairs.

On the first floor there is a large double room with an ensuite bathroom.

The 2nd bedroom has a double bed and a single.

3rd bedroom has 2 single beds and a set of bunk beds and can sleep 4 kids in total.

A bathroom with shower serves the 2 bedrooms.

2nd Floor:

2 large double bedrooms with large en suites each with a shower, basin, bidet and WC.

The windows have shutters .

The ceilings are high helping the rooms to remain nice and cool in summer.

There are beautiful rural views from the windows.

Offida .

An immaculate, ornate Medieval hill town which is the centre of wine production in the area..

A pleasant afternoon or early evening can be spent at the wine tasting cave in Offida. Sit out on the town wall on the balcony and enjoy a crisp glass of Pecorino with a plate of Tangy pecorino chees and slices of sweet, salty Proscuitto.

It is a pleasure to wander the streets of this immaculate town which was once a centre of lace making. 

Ascoli Piceno 

 The regions Capital is an exquisite city who's piazza del Popolo is renowned to be one of Italys most beautiful. Sit out in the square ouside Cafe Miletti to enjoy a glass  of local wine and a plate of antipasta. The city is full of beautiful architectural masterpieces and works of art. The area is the heart of the slow food movement, the capital Ascoli Piceno has many excellent restaurants to discover the fine , slow cooked dishes with locally sourced wild boar, artichokes, truffles, cheese, ham and olives.

The closest beach is San Benedetto , a very chic resort town on the Costa del Palme. Long sandy beaches, marinas, watersports, and countless excellent restaurants specialising in serving freshly caught fish from the Adriatic. With a plethora of bars, clubs and cafes this beautiful stretch of coast offers visitors clean beach and water awards, the sparkling blue Adriatic sea and white sands. A day spent on a hired sun bed and parasol snoozing or taking a cool dip in the blue, twinkling sea, then wander to a restaurant for some spaghetti with clams or pesce fritte with chips and a chilled glass of Veddichio gazing out to sea.
