Fantastic place in undiscovered part of Italy
Fantastic renovated holiday home, fully equipped. Very clean and very friendly hostess. There was a welcome basket with food and drinks waiting for us! Super! We had a wonderful week with a trip to the beach, the reservoir and various towns. We wanted to discover more, but the secondary roads double your travel time. But relaxing by the pool is a great alternative. Delicious food in the nearby village.

Beautiful house
The house is beautiful and is fantastic. The support both before and during our stay was extremely friendly and attentive. After our arrival, an all-round supply package including drinks and wine was already prepared on the table. We felt very comfortable. Many thanks to Anna, Jenny and Dave.

Amazing holiday home
We had a great time in Casa Serena! The owners were very good hosts, we experienced a very warm welcome! We could also ask questions any time and got great and helpful recommendations about exciting POIs as well as restaurants or where to buy groceries. The house was perfect for our party of nine (4 adults and 5 children). The children loved the pool and the adults were also happy about the cooking equipment. The kitchen was equipped with lots of details and left no needs open. The rooms are very nice and have a really good size and lovely furniture. And we loved the patio for having the breakfast.

Casa Serena is a wonderful property. It has been sensitively and imaginatively restored, retaining many original features but providing the requirements of modern living, including wifi that was excellent and a 4G signal in the area. It is one of the most well equipped houses we've ever stayed in, they've thought of everything, I was amazed to even have sharp, decent kitchen knives. It was spotlessly clean and the pool and grounds are very well maintained and beautiful.
Jenny and David are exemplary hosts, they provide help and support when required but are very discrete and quiet the rest of the time. They are a font of local knowledge and are happy to recommend and book restaurants or suggest places of interest to visit. There was a generous welcome hamper which provided everything that we needed for our first day or so until we could get to a supermarket.
It really is a delightful part of Italy, lots to see and do but not over touristy. There are many medieval hilltop villages to explore and the coast is only an hour or so away. We found plenty of restaurants providing the local Marche cuisine, fabulous pizzas and the amazing Italian gelato.
Casa Serena provides a tranquil and private environment for a relaxing holiday, but it is a rural property and the Marche terrain is hilly and roads unpredictable. The house is off the main road about 1.5km down Italian white roads or strade bianche, which are found across Italy, and have unmade dusty, stony surfaces. They are beautiful and characteristic in this their natural setting, but combined with the steep hills of the area they are challenging to drive on.
Casa Serena is a delightful holiday home, we had a brilliant family holiday there and can highly recommend it.

The Swiss Crew again. It was very relaxing to revisit the old sights and exciting to discover some new ones. It was not quite as hot as last year, which made our stay even more enjoyable.
Thanks again for always being there and special thanks for the delicious figs...and the new Weber grill is fantastic!

We spent a great time at your beautiful house in 'Bella Italia'.
Your house is very well equipped and we enjoyed our time relaxing by the pool. We loved the nature and quietness. Our favourite place was your lovely terrace where we could luckily eat everyday and played many games. Besides we really appreciated all your help on what we could visit.

We spent a fabulous fortnight at your beautiful villa, which offers everthing for an exciting and relaxing holiday: a perfectly restored house with all the necessary facilities, a spacious and beautifully tended garden and swimming pool, splendid for reading, sunbathing or just lying around - and playing badminton...Thank you all very much for all the advice and help given wherever we needed it - it has been well appreciated!
The Swiss Crew - Summer 2015
Thanks for a fabulous 2 weeks. Villa beautiful, caters for everyone's needs and pool and surroundings idyllic!
Thank you Jenny for all your help and advice about where to go and what to do. We visited the beach at Porto San Giorgio and were impressed the most with the mountains and Lake Fiastra - absolutely stunning.
We are off now to old Blighty with regret that the holiday is at an end. Thanks again for making it so special.

Wonderful 2 weeks at Casa Serena.
Everything was perfect - we loved the surrounding countryside, beach, & Lake Fiastra, the food, the people, the supermarket in Penna! The house and pool are perfect, we shall miss it very much. "

What peaceful surrounding countryside! We saw a deer and tiny fawn, a fox, a long black snake and the dawn chorus was deafening!
The local hill villages are all worth visiting - and different and enchanting.
Casa Serena is a wonderful conversion, with every comfort, in a magnificent, unspoilt location.
